ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Create models and drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop/Inventor.
  2. Design, develop, test, and implement mechanical devices, including tooling, carts, and machines
  3. Reduce manufacturing costs and improve productivity through the use of work measurement, value engineering, methods research, product alteration, ergonomics, work center layout, automation, and equipment justification.
  4. Coordinate the implementation of capital projects.
  5. Coordinate Engineering services necessary to accommodate new product introductions.
  6. Assist in the development of the annual capital budget.
  7. Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor. 


MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

 

Minimum Associate Degree, preferably Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Possess strong written and communication skills.
  2. Work as a team member to accomplish tasks.
  3. Detail orientated
  4. Must enjoy being part of a dynamic working environment.
